Guitarist Greg Ruby brings the music of Oscar Alemán to Lindy Focus. An Argentine guitar virtuoso who lit up the Paris jazz scene of the 1930s, Alemán blended hot jazz, American big band swing, South American rhythms and syncopated guitar work into a sound all his own. Greg has spent years exploring and performing Alemán’s music, bringing this remarkable, underrecognized artist to a new generation of swing dancers.
