For thirty years, Guitar Week has brought together a world-class teaching staff and dedicated students for a one-of-a-kind workshop that celebrates the amazing versatility of the acoustic guitar. Participants are immersed in what one student has called “guitar utopia,” helping each other grow as musicians in a supportive atmosphere of acoustic guitar lovers, many of whom will become lifelong friends.
The staff for 2026 includes Howard Alden (jazz), Alan Barnosky (bluegrass), Steve Baughman (fingerstyle and clawhammer guitar), Robin Bullock (Celtic), Clive Carroll (fingerstyle), Pat Donohue (blues fingerpicking), Mike Dowling (slide guitar and blues, swing, & ragtime), Mark Ferguson (flamenco), Mary Flower (ragtime), Grant Gordy (new acoustic), Danny Knicely (bluegrass), Christie Lenée (fingerstyle tapping), Emeline O’Rourke (swing), Cory Seznec (fingerstyle), and Jon Shain (blues and slide guitar).
